Competition and confusing the client, "Don't believe the hype"

Well I usually would not comment or give this subject the time of day, but I feel the need to address this subject.

I noticed a DJ company out of Cypress Ca checking out my site www.emobilemusic.com, 26 times now and thought I would see what they were looking at.

When I went to this DJ site I noticed claims of "white papers" and what DJs are charging etc.  I found this funny as this DJ worked for me and had bad reviews, (why he no longer works for me).  I did notice that there were no client testimonials on this site.  We have over 30 testimonials on our site and can give 200 references in a minute. They also starting causing fear, confusion and bringing up other topics about our industry.  They should stick to promoting themselves and what they do.

My point is that anyone can claim they are a great DJ company and pretend to be an industry insider.  This is tricking the client in my opinion. When you shop for any vendor, make sure they have references and if they have anything to support their claims on their website.

Our DJ site is about us and what we do, if you want information about weddings and parties.  We do not worry about hype.

As an industry insider Joe Broccardo from www.broccardophoto.com and myself have formed www.theOCWeddingPros.com.
We can give you information about Venues, Catering companies and the industries best vendors.

It is nice to have a blog to vent!!

Best to everyone,

DJ Todd
