We had 2 great weddings at the pacific edge this past weekend. Timothy and Lara did the Advice dollars and had bridal trivia. The guest were awesome and Laguna Beach had its best weather of the year. Love May==not so hot.

Tips before hiring a DJ
Do you have references? We have over 200 references and have numerous testimonials from our happy clients. A good DJ company will be able to provide you with references. See our reviews on Wedding Wire.
Do you Mc or just play music? DJ’s Todd, Dawn and Danny are professional MC’s. We make proper, professional announcements for your Grand Entrance, events and crowd interaction. We have attended MC workshops and have great ideas such as the “Advice Dollar” and “Love Story”.
How do you handle music requests? We give each of our clients their own webpage to choose music. We can also provide a guest link for your guests. At the event we can take requests. We are computer based and can play requested songs in 5 seconds.
How diverse is your music library? We subscribe to Promo Only, Hit Visions for videos and Full Tilt Remix. These services give us the latest music in radio edit form. We have over 100,000 songs at present time. We can handle any request and will have every song you want prior to your event. We update every Tuesday on music release day.
Do you do event coordination? We coordinate all of our events with our clients. We want our clients to enjoy their guests and to have no worries at their event. We feel if you plan every moment down to the last detail that the event will look like a production.
What kind of gear/equipment do you use? We are computer based and use Apple IMAC’s with Serato Scratch software, (industry standard for club DJs) and we also use PCVJ for video and automated music on Hp windows based computers. We use JBL EON G-2 self powered speakers, Shure Microphones, Dennon Mixers, DMX lighting and Ben Q rear projectors. We only use the best equipment available in our industry.
How will you dress for our event? For weddings we are dressed in Tuxedos or suits. For parties we dress the way you request us to dress.
We have been in tuxedos, suites, baseball uniforms and even Austin Powers costumes.
When will you arrive for our event? We always arrive 2 hours early for setup and sound checks. We do not like to stress or hurry for our events.
Do you provide backup equipment and insurance? We actually use our backup equipment at our events. We use an Imac and PC with DJ software and also have external hard drives with your event music programmed. We provide liability insurance to protect you, the venue and EMM.
Will you require a meal? As professionals we do not eat meals at our events. You have hired us to perform for you and we are always on top of what is going on. We may grab a snack to tide us over, but we never sit down and eat a meal.
For your information: We use the 2 major platforms, (windows and mac) for our music and video. Our guests have brought us flash drives, cds and even IPHONEs to play special requests. We are able to handle any media.
