“Wow! Wow! Wow!” That was the response of each and every person that attended Cassidy and Justin’s wedding last week-end at Pacific Edge, and we just want to thank you for making it that way – it was truly magically. EVERYTHING was impeccable - the flowers, the decorations, the food, the minister, DJ DAWN – we could not have asked for anything more. We had many guest tell us they had never been to a more beautiful or fun wedding. Please thank each and every staff member and vendor for us.

Questions about equipment/backup
I get lots of questions about our equipment. We use Two computers at every gig/event. We use Serato Scratch Live on an IMAC Computer and PCVJ on HP Laptops=this is the best DJ software in our industry. Every event has full backup as your Wedding/Party has every song you choose in virtual folders(Event,Cocktail,Dinner and Dance). We put your music over 3 hard drives. With PCVJ software we are able to show Video, (MTV style). Everyone loves to watch video, at the present time we have over 1,500=old school, 80's, 70's, Disco and Current Videos. We only use JBL powered speakers. JBL is famous for there concert speakers. We us the JBL G-2 series. These beauties are 400 watts per speaker and have independent sound on each speaker. This great when you are at a venue and you want to jam over the dance floor==but want another area to have less volume. With the powered speaker we are able to connect microphones directly into the speaker itself. This is great for ceremonies or we are able to use as a PA system for corporate events/Parties. We only use Shure Microphones--Shure is considered one of the best microphones in the business. We put body packs on ministers so you do not see Microphone stands during your ceremony. We bring two wireless microphones to each event. Your event is toooo important so we have two systems available at each event.

DJ Todd and Dawn in Hawaii
Working DJs do not get many days off==so we took off to Hawaii during the week. We snorkeled with the turtles, Todd learned how to surf and we attended a Luau. Next post will be back to work===here are some pics of us in Maui.
Dawns 40th Birthday Party
Dawn had her birthday party and our special guest DJ Danny D read our love story to our guests.

The Proposal
This blog is to give insight to our friends, vendors and prospective clients. Well DJ Todd proposed to Dawn in Las Vegas On November 4th 2007. We have the pictures of the proposal. Dawn is a big dancer so I thought it would be cool to go to the Palms in Las Vegas and take her to club Rain. I kept looking for the right place to ask for her hand in marriage. We tried the playboy club, Moon and finally ended up at the Ghost Bar. They had a great view of Las Vegas and some guys said take a picture of us. This is when I handed our camera to them and told asked them to get a picture of us. I then got down on me knee and asked Dawn to marry me. Here are some pictures of the proposal and the guys that bought me drinks after. After Dawn said yes we danced until 4am at club rain==The big song of the night was Cyclone==I think they played it every 4th song or so==I almost wanted to get up in the booth and change the play list. Just the DJ in me I guess.
Corporate and Parties at EMM
I was asked if we only do weddings. So here are a few pictures from parties that we have done.
Sarnoff court reporters had us dress up for Halloween. DJ Todd was Austin Powers and DJ Dawn was Felicity. What an awesome party!!!! We did Karaoke, Video and Jammed old school songs with the current hits. This event was at the brewing company inside the Bonaventure hotel in Los Angeles. We did an event for Office Solutions and Avery Products in Newport Harbor. We rocked the boat and everyone had a great time cruising the harbor. The last picture is an 80th birthday party==Our guest of honor did her kicks to Frank Sinatra's New York New York. Plan your party today!!
Cassidy and Justin at the Pacific Edge
Justin and Cassidy came all the way from the Sacramento area to have their destination wedding at the Pacific Edge in Laguna Beach on Sat., May 24th, 2008. The rains were coming down pretty heavy when DJ Todd was performing at his Pacific Edge wedding the night before, but thanks to lots of luck and finger crossing, there were clear skies and even a beautiful sunset for Justin and Cassidy. It was nice as some of their guests came from Ohio.
The ceremony was simple and elegant, dinner was fantastic, then it was time to kick off the party! I was told by Cassidy that many of her guests were not dancers, so not to take it personally if the dance floor was empty--well, we rocked it!! It was great to see even Grandpa join in the YMCA, and Thriller was also a big hit!! All in all, I heard someone ask Cassidy if her wedding was all that she wanted, and she replied that it was the best party of her life!!
Mark and Shelley at The Pacific Edge
Mark and Shelley from canada had a unique wedding reception. We had a guest MC and many toasts at this wedding. Most of the guests were auctioneers=so they had no problem on the microphone. We had Shelley being auctioned to Mark==pretty funny. We also played the kissing game. Where we call couples up to kiss and the bride and groom copy every movement=from twirls to kissing behind the back=to being lifted. We had a slide show of the wedding and showed current music videos. The Groomsmen got the ymca hats and did the ymca for the guests. Everyone got involved and it was a big hit.

Brian and Tanya's Wedding
This wedding was a blast!!!!!!!!!! Brian and Tanya took private dance lessons and did there first dance with your the inspiration and mixed it with a dj scratch and the song red red wine.
We played there sky diving video and everyone loved the proposal in the air. You could hear Tanya say Yes, Yes while she was coming in for a landing. We played videos as old as All Night Long by Lionel Richie and the crowd sang piano man as the last song. Its 9 oclock on
